Shakopee, MN, May 21, 2020 – OSAS, leading ERP software solution provider, announces a recent donation to support the Minnesota-based Community Action Partnership (CAP) Agency of Carver, Scott, and Dakota Counties’ Food Shelf.

In a coordinated effort with the local grocery store, OSAS sponsored the purchase of pallets of cereal delivered over the course of three weeks to cover the food pantry’s needs. The donation assists in their efforts to keep up with a significant increase in demand due to the coronavirus, as they were struggling to keep their supplies stocked. The CAP Agency was thankful and overwhelmed by the generosity of OSAS, noting that there are many people in the community in need of help during this difficult time.

“We’re thankful for the opportunity to partner with the CAP Agency in helping members of the community where many of our employees live and work,” stated Dr. Michael Bertini, CEO, OSAS. “During this unprecedented time, OSAS is happy to be able to support the Shakopee food shelf in meeting this pressing need.”

The goal of the CAP Agency’s Food Shelf is to provide immediate food and resources to individuals and families to provide a bridge through difficult times. With an influx of people facing hardships like the loss of income in the wake of the coronavirus and the government response, the need for these resources has increased.
